Membership
After an initial four weeks guests will be invited to join the British Woodcarvers Association, as part of the conditions of being a club member. The current cost is £25 per annum and runs from June each year.
What do you get as a member of the BWA?
The Woodcarver’s Gazette, an in-house colour magazine that is delivered to your door 4 times a year. It contains articles by members, photos of carvings and sculptures and a letters page.
The opportunity to meet other carvers and to exhibit your work at Regional and National Exhibitions.
Receive advice, guidance and assistance about all aspects of carving from experienced carvers.
Have Third Party Public Liability Insurance cover at all BWA workshops and events.
Our Club:
The cost to attend the club is £2 to cover the cost of the hall and tea and biscuits – only payable when you attend. There is also a raffle, with tickets sold each week. This is drawn quarterly and offers carving related prizes, such as wood, tools, holding devices etc.
